For a second straight weekend, the FOX commentating workforce of Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma was on the Washington Commanders recreation.
Last week, that they had the pleasure of welcoming US President Donald Trump into the published sales space in Washington, when Vilma cracked a pair of “6-7” jokes.
Vilma was at it again this week. After a Deebo Samuel reception from quarterback Marcus Mariota — in for the injured Commanders QB Jayden Daniels — he hit the 6-7 dance.
“And oooh, what’s that, Kenny? C’mon. I know you know it,” Vilma stated to his accomplice. Taking one out of your playbook,” Albert joked back.
Vilma would not transfer on. “[Commanders head coach Dan Quinn] likes it,” he added. “Man, DQ hit him about 6-7 times, Kenny. What do you think?”
When Albert advised him that he is “not giving up,” Vilma admitted, “I’m not. I’m not. Deebo did it. I had to come back with it.”
Vilma made 6-7 jokes to Trump on two occasions. “How many touchdowns did you get? Six, seven..?” he asked the President when talking about his high school football career.
He wasn’t finished. Later in the interview, Vilma said: “But, see, that is how you can’ve performed tight finish, proper? … You undoubtedly would’ve had like six, seven touchdowns there.”
Vilma, 43, played for the New York Jets from 2004-2007 and the New Orleans Saints from 2008-2013, winning a Super Bowl and making three Pro Bowls (as a linebacker) along the way.
