While Mark Martin has no intention of popping out of retirement to get behind the wheel, the NASCAR legend has outlined what it will take for him to return to the game in an official capability.

“I don’t know. I can tell you this much: I don’t have time for a job,” Martin stated not too long ago on NASCAR Live.
“I’m the busiest guy. I rarely do; once in a while, I’ll have to do certain things I don’t like to do.
“But most of the time, I’m doing stuffs that I wanna do. I keep actually busy, taking care of my motor, taking care of it, driving it, touring and visiting pals, making recollections. It’s a actually actually good life. I really like being retired.”
He was then asked about whether he would be interested in joining NASCAR’s leadership team, which prompted Martin to offer up a response in which he branded himself “a sensible a–.”
“No, of course I’m not going to get the call, that’s why I stated it,” said Martin.
