“It was San Francisco at home … I scrambled to my left and Dashon Goldson, who’s number 38 for them, tackled me and I didn’t think anything of it. It tore and it popped off, and luckily my guys in Detroit, the equipment guys knew. They had a couple spares on the sideline for me so I ran over and put one on.”

Stafford will definitely have his trusty rubber band prepared when the Rams tackle the Carolina Panthers in Saturday’s Wild Card Round matchup.
