For the 2026/27 tax year, if your car is up to 1549cc (up to 1.6l), you now pay £230 per year, up from £220.
“If it’s over 1549cc, you are paying £375 per year, up from £360. It’s just £15, you’re thinking, I get it. But boy, that figure is creeping close to £400 now.”
