Bubba Wallace says Michael Jordan is “fired up” for the new NASCAR season with 23XI Racing’s lawsuit behind them.
Asked about his latest contact with Jordan by Express US Sports, Wallace mentioned: “I actually saw him yesterday on the golf course. We had a good leadership meeting a couple of weeks ago.
“He’s fired up. It’s a new season, so it’s a clean slate. Ready to go and get it.”
Asked what it could imply to each himself and Jordan to win the Daytona 500 collectively, Wallace replied: “We’ve both been fans of the sport, he’s been a fan a lot longer than I have, but we understand what it takes to be successful.
“To win at this level is super hard. But when you have the right people surrounding you, then the sky’s the limit. So just put it all together.”

“To come into this year more confident and more focused. We’ve just got to dot our I’s and cross our t’s, I think I say that every year here at Daytona 500 media day. We just have to put it all together.”
