Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey is axing more than 4,000 workers at his fintech company Block — slashing the workforce by almost half in what he known as a needed shift towards ‘intelligence tools.’

Dorsey despatched a letter to shareholders saying the company, which owns Square, Cash App and Afterpay, will scale back 10,205 employees to simply below 6,00.
