Mayor Zohran Mamdani bought it at least half right Sunday when he blasted his own Democratic Party for missing imaginative and prescient.
“We know very well what we oppose,” the mayor huffed. “What are we for? That is a question we have to be able to answer. . . . That is the heart of the question for our party.”
Indeed it’s.
For just about the whole time President Donald Trump has been within the White House, Democrats have outlined themselves by opposing no matter he helps.
Secure borders. Low taxes. Public security. No nukes for Iran. Deporting violent unlawful immigrants.
No matter the problem, if Trump’s for it, they’re in opposition to it.

Truth is, they’re merely against him: Seems like each Democratic candidate runs on a vow to “stand up to Trump.” And their lapdogs within the media back them up.
Mamdani’s right: That’s not a imaginative and prescient. That’s merely hate.
The mayor can also be right that what he gives is a imaginative and prescient of the longer term.
Unfortunately, it’s the flawed imaginative and prescient.

And, for higher or worse, Mamdani isn’t offering a lot else apart from failed imaginative and prescient.
What people need is leaders who not solely lay out sound objectives however have the abilities to attain them.
Democrats clearly have their work cut out for them.
