Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’s artificial intelligence startup Prometheus mentioned Thursday it has secured an eye-popping $41 billion valuation in a new funding spherical.

Prometheus, which doesn’t seem to have a public web site, has already constructed a workforce of 150 workers. The firm doesn’t have direct ties to Amazon or Bezos’s rocket company Blue Origin.

Bezos, 62, has more and more shifted his focus to AI initiatives since stepping down as CEO of Amazon in 2021. He nonetheless serves as government chairman of the ecommerce giant.
