Tristan, meanwhile, now faces two counts of rape and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation. In total, the pair now face 59 charges according to UK police. The Tates, who were recently arrested in Miami, deny any wrongdoing.
The CPS has said they are working on extraditing the brothers, who are dual British-US citizens, to the UK.
Joseph McBride, a lawyer representing the Tates, recently said in a statement, “The world is aware of Andrew and Tristan are harmless.
“We are confident that once a competent judge sees the facts, and once the Department of Justice confronts this egregious abuse of its own authority, Andrew and Tristan Tate will walk free. America does not do Britain’s political dirty work.”
The Tates appeared in federal court docket earlier this week following their arrest.
