SL Green signs 2 leases for 1185 Sixth Ave, – Business News

Two leases totaling nearly 57,000 sq. toes at SL Green’s 1185  Sixth Ave. have been simply signed, bringing the 1.1 million square-foot tower between West forty sixth and forty seventh streets to about 92% full.

One lease was a 29,166 square-foot renewal and enlargement for insurance coverage firm Ryan Specialty LLC, whereas the opposite was a new, 27,508 square-foot lease with property management firm Solil Management LLC.

SL Green leasing director Steven Durels mentioned, not surprisingly, “We’re delighted to have both of these highly regarded firms as part of the building’s premier tenant roster.”

The tower lately noticed main enhancements together with for the foyer, elevators and corridors.

Moroccanoil, a luxurious and body-care company, lately signed a lease for  37,000 sq. toes, transferring from 135 E. 57th St. which is being transformed to flats.

Other main tenants at 1185 Sixth embody Syska Hennessey, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China and Hartree Partners.
