Rep. Jamie Raskin is the newest Democrat to proclaim that Hasan Piker and his rancid views are merely an “irrelevant distraction.”

Raskin (Md.) made his remarks Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” after host Kristen Welker requested about Michigan’s Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed’s ties to Piker, given the influencer’s pro-Hamas, anti-Israel views.
“Obviously, nobody supports Hamas,” Raskin replied.
Sorry, that’s lifeless fallacious: Pew polls show 13% of Democrats — 17% amongst these age 18-29 — do favor Hamas. Among Muslims, it’s an alarming 44%.

El-Sayed shrugs his shoulders and pretends to marvel what the fuss is.
“If you want to make this race about a streamer in California,” he guilefully says, “I just think you’re missing the boat.”
Until a few weeks in the past El-Sayed couldn’t get enough of Piker’s toxic model, begging the “streamer from California” to stump for him.
Michigan Rep. Debbie Dingell really informed reporters to not “ask me again about Hasan Piker.” It’s not “what November is about,” she argued.
In truth, till about 10 minutes in the past, Dems have been elated that, in Piker, they’d discovered a buff influencer who would ship impressionable younger males to the left.
