Bilt Rewards, a loyalty program that provides perks on rent funds and mortgages, is popping its consideration to one of the nation’s greatest debt issues – student loans.
The New York-based startup, which operates as a cost processor, on Wednesday unveiled packages that can reward college students with points for his or her loan and campus housing funds.
The firm already boasts packages for renters, in addition to homebuyers and condominium and co-op house owners. Bilt members can spend the points on bills like journey, with more than 100 main airways and lodge companions; fitness courses; eating out; Lyft rides; and even prescription refills at Walgreens.

“With all the tariffs, with all the different global economic challenges, things are more expensive than ever,” Ankur Jain, Bilt’s founder and chief government and a former Tinder exec, instructed The Post.
“When you’re paying your rent, you have to start paying your student loans off and you’re trying to afford everything else, it’s just crazy how expensive it is.”
Bilt’s Student Loan Payment Redemption plan, which launched on Wednesday, goals to ease the financial burden on faculty college students, permitting them to redeem points on loan repayments with eligible companies like Nelnet, MOHELA and Sallie Mae.
Mounting student loan debt is a large downside looming over the US, with 42.7 million debtors owing more than $1.6 trillion in student debt as of April 21, in accordance to the Department of Education.
