NWSL moving headquarters to 551 Fifth Ave. – Business News
Midtown north of forty second Street, home to each the NFL and MLB headquarters, will quickly have one other sports activities entrance workplace: the National Women’s Soccer League, which signed a lease on the Feil Organization’s landmarked 551 Fifth Ave., generally known as the Fred D. French Building.
The NWSL is relocating and increasing from 292 Madison Ave. Its new digs could have 21,000 sq. toes on a full flooring, twice as a lot as at its outdated tackle. The asking rent was $58 per sq. foot.

Feil industrial leasing head Andrew Wiener hailed the transfer as a “new chapter in this iconic, Art Deco-style tower’s legacy.” Lauren Lopez, the NWSL’s s chief people & tradition officer, mentioned the new headquarters “reflects the tremendous growth” of the league.”
The building is almost 90% leased.
The NWSL, which includes 16 groups, moved to New York from Chicago in 2022.
The league was repped by CBRE’s Conor Denihan and Patrick Moroney. Feil was repped in-house by Wiener, Kevin Driscoll, and Henry Korzec.
The Feil Organization in the meantime is busy as nicely at 140 W. 57th St., one other workplace landmark which it’s changing to residential with BLDG Management Co. and the Nakash household.
The companions plan a 47-unit luxurious condominium behind the building’s Neo-Gothic facade. Construction will begin this spring and be completed by the top of 2026.
