“So hopefully the future of this venue is to have a Cup Series race year in and year out. I think it’s a deserving venue. We should be at these racetracks, and I think there’s a lot more tracks throughout the country that the sport should invest in and bring back.
“I would love to continue to diversify the schedule and get to where we’re going to tracks only one time a year. And I think the crowds would be much larger if that was the case.”

Should North Wilkesboro be reintroduced as a points racetrack, NASCAR would likely need to find a new site for the annual All-Star race. Keselowski suggested that the exhibition race be moved to Charlotte Speedway, which hosted it from 1987 to 2019.
“I’d wish to see the All-Star Race almost certainly return to Charlotte,” he said. “That’s my personal opinion. I feel the Charlotte racetrack, significantly because it only has one race on the oval, I feel that’s a miss for our sport.
“It’s a great racetrack and puts on some of the best racing, so it would make sense to me if we were to revert back to that and make this a season race, and probably get rid of a race like the Roval or something like that.”
