Apple appeals EU order forcing iPhone to be more – Business News

“In the end, these deeply flawed rules that only target Apple—and no other company—will severely limit our ability to deliver innovative products and features to Europe, leading to an inferior user experience for our European customers,” an Apple spokesperson stated in a assertion.

“We are appealing these decisions on their behalf, and in order to preserve the high-quality experience our European customers expect.”

Meta, Google, Spotify and Garmin are among the many tech rivals which have requested more information entry, sources close to Apple stated.

Apple has stated it has up to 500 engineers engaged on options to adjust to the Digital Markets Act.
