“I think there’s a little bit more camaraderie, just because we’re all traveling to and from the hotel and the airport and stuff together. So I haven’t felt any hostility,” Legge advised SpeedFreaks.
“I think everybody’s been super nice, but they’re all genuinely nice people whether they’re friends or they’re in their little cliques or not. I’ve had help from a handful of drivers and I appreciate them and they’re acceptance of this new English girl coming in and disrupting everything. I was told don’t take Suarez out this time, though.”
Speaking to NASCAR.com’s Dustin Albino earlier within the week, Legge confessed that her initial struggles have been a humbling expertise. “I thought that I was a lot better than I am,” she stated. “I have no doubt that I’ll get there. But how quickly? I thought I would drive the car a couple of times and then be up at the sharp end, but it’s taking a little longer than I anticipated.”
