Hundreds of British drivers are contemplating ditching their autos fully due to the rising price of possession. In explicit, a rise in petrol and diesel fuel payments may tip many over the sting and drive many to give up the liberty of proudly owning a motor.

It comes after fears that petrol and diesel costs may rise due to an increase within the price of oil. 

Last week, the RAC warned that the average price of petrol has elevated by 1.5p to stand at round 133.5p per litre. Meanwhile, diesel has gone up by 2p, reaching a UK average of 140p per litre. 

However, the RAC warned that it was attainable that the average price of fuel might “go up further” in a attainable blow to motorists.

According to the research, 25% of working adults say they discover driving more anxious than taking the bus or practice. 

A hefty 35% of these polled stated that an excessive amount of site visitors was the highest frustration for commuters in 2025.
