In one more telling lowlight of the 2024 marketing campaign, even a TikTok star felt obliged to guard Kamala Harris from . . . Kamala Harris.

Kareem Rahma, host of the TikTok phenomenon “Subway Takes,” simply instructed Forbes that his Summer 2024 interview with Harris received so “confusing and weird” that he agreed together with her crew to scrap the entire thing.

In advance, she reportedly mentioned she’d discuss how she doesn’t prefer to take her sneakers off on airplanes, however Rahma says she as an alternative pivoted to a “really, really bad” take that “made no sense”: Bacon is a spice.

Whether that was really her concept or the advice of overpaid consultants, the dialog went downhill fast as Harris couldn’t make any sense of why she thought that.

But everybody should think about that exact phrase salad for themselves, as Rahma opted to not post the footage for worry he’d get blamed if Harris misplaced.

Don’t fault Rahma, a principally nonpolitical entertainer, for sidestepping that doubtless torrent of liberal rage.

But file that anecdote together with “60 Minutes” modifying of her interview with Bill Whitaker to make her sound more coherent (a expensive deception).

And “View” co-host Sonny Hostin feeling “terrible” for asking Harris what she’d do otherwise from Joe Biden, yielding the self-torpedoing reply, “There is not a thing that comes to mind.”

Even Harris’ pals couldn’t make her look good; she’s such a compromised communicator that she couldn’t even cross the Subway Takes sniff take a look at, although most of Rahma’s interviewees are amateurs — a combine of common NYers and barely identified, start-of-their profession comedians and influencers.

It’s exhausting to faux authenticity, but that’s what Harris felt she needed to do.

America dodged that bullet in November; going ahead, the query is: Can the Democratic Party discover any candidates who both can faux it, or (higher) don’t need to?
