Wheeler Dealer star Mike Brewer has named his “favourite” car that he “always comes back to”. Mike, 60, has encountered lots of of automobiles in his tv profession in addition to his work as a trader. 

There is nevertheless one make and model that stands out above the remainder. The former Driven presenter says he’s a large fan of the Porsche 911. The well-liked sports activities car has been a flagship model for the German company since 1963. It has seen a quantity of iterations throughout the years, with the present model costing consumers £103,000 from new.

Mike admits there are “so many good cars” on the market for customers, together with the likes of the BMW M-series and Audi A-series. But he says he likes the practicality of the Porsche 911.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, he mentioned: “I’m a Porsche fan and I have a new 911. I think they’re amazing cars and I love them. There’s so many good new cars out there like the BMW M2 and M4 and Audi A4 and A5 but I will always go back to the Porsche.

“It’s a really amazing supercar that you can use on a daily basis. You can use them in a way that you can’t in a Ferrari or Lamborghini.

“They are as common as a Volkswagen Beetle, not difficult to drive, and they have respect. People don’t let you out in a Ferrari because of jealousy.”

Mike has beforehand spoken fondly for one sort of 911 specifically. On the Talkin’ Shop podcast he mentioned he would “give his left nut” for a Porsche Singer. 

He mentioned: “I have publicly said, and I’ve written it down in my own publication, that I know Robert Singer and I’ve been to the Singer factory, I would gladly give my left nut for a Singer. In fact, I would change that now and they can have both of them for a Singer because I don’t think I’d use them anymore.”

Mike informed listeners that he would dream of proudly owning a white Singer model with a tan inside. He mentioned: “I walked to Monterey car week and stood in front of that car, the doors were open on a plinth and my wife will tell you that I stood and stared at the car for two hours, I was mesmerised by it.”

Mike has not too long ago launched a new TV show, Born Dealer, which he says will give followers a “look under the bonnet” of his life at home with spouse Michelle and daughter Chloe. Fans will watch on as Mike takes the “biggest gamble he’s ever taken in his life” by investing his pension pot into a new car dealership, One Automotive.

Mike mentioned: “It is a chance to look into the bonnet and see the real Mike Brewer. On this show I would wake up and there was a camera crew following you. I thought ‘I’m not going to hold back’ and it shows both the highs and lows.”
