Emma Raducanu has revealed her disappointment at lacking out on a seeded spot on the U.S. Open, although she acknowledged it would truly work in her favor. The British star has loved a promising 2025 marketing campaign and climbed to world No. 35 within the rankings forward of her opening-round conflict with qualifier Ena Shibahara.

The 2021 Flushing Meadows victor fell short of seeded standing by only one place however stays assured in her skill to problem the game’s elite gamers.

That self-assurance has strengthened following two marathon battles towards world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, with Raducanu pushing the Belarusian to the restrict at each Wimbledon and the Cincinnati Open regardless of struggling slim losses.

Raducanu’s former mentor, Mark Petchey, is convinced that the 22-year-old can duplicate her triumph from four years ago. Meanwhile, the Brit is vowing that her maiden title since that memorable triumph in New York is within reach.

“Playing first match, first day, the very begin of the match… I’m trying ahead to it,” Raducanu added.
