In the wake of Robin Westman’s lethal Minneapolis rampage, some troll within the bowels of the Trump Justice Department reportedly proposed blocking trans people from shopping for firearms by declaring all of them “mentally ill.”
This, of course, is absurd as a easy matter of law: No rule that strips a (dubiously-defined) group of their Second Amendment rights has any likelihood of holding up in court docket.
