Costco says the transfer rewards loyalty and goals to ease overcrowding, however the change has drawn criticism from staff and members.

Costco prospects took to the social media platform Reddit to grip concerning the new coverage, saying that a current hiring freeze and diminished hours would make it more troublesome to open earlier.

Others on Reddit in contrast the new coverage to Sam’s Club’s long-standing tiered entry, with membership membership costing $50 per yr whereas the Plus membership units prospects back $110 a yr.

Despite backlash, Costco has made clear that enforcement is now strict, with no additional flexibility.
