Xander Schauffele was keen to focus on to Keegan Bradley the affect Bryson DeChambeau may have for Team USA on the Ryder Cup.

Schauffele was among the many defeated squad in Rome two years in the past when DeChambeau wasn’t chosen. However, he’s now returned to the workforce and instantly demonstrated how he differs from his teammates in the beginning of the week.

DeChambeau’s inclusion will spark large pleasure amongst his home supporters at Bethpage Black. Scottie Scheffler was swift to specific his ideas on what the LIV Golf star brings as a teammate in workforce competitions.

Schauffele disclosed he knowledgeable captain Bradley that DeChambeau may show decisive and ship an even larger affect than himself past merely scoring factors.

Schauffele defined: “Yeah, I was telling Keegan when this whole thing was starting that I felt like he could be — when you look at Ryder Cups and how they shake down, it’s like — it can kind of seem very different or distant at times when you win or lose one.

“But I used to be telling Keegan, I really feel like Bryson could possibly be just like the distinction for us in a unusual method from the standpoint of feeding into these followers, the model of golf he performs.

“And also how — like you’ll get me, I’ll make a putt, and you won’t see too much of a reaction. That’s just who I am. That’s kind of how I operate. Maybe it might change this week, who knows. These Ryder Cups bring out the best in you at times.

“But Bryson is like, that is his area. If he views himself as a gladiator golfer, that is pretty much as good because it will get. He’s been superior. He’s been superior within the workforce room.

“I’m excited to sort of see what he can do, and hopefully get a lot of points up on the board because his points might hit harder than maybe my points, for example, just because of how he might celebrate and get these fans into this tournament quickly.”

World No. 1 Scheffler chimed in: “Yeah, I mean, I think Bryson is a tremendous competitor. He’s a great partner as well.

“I partnered with him in 2021 at Whistling Straits and he was a great man to be out to be golf course with. He’s a great man and a good good friend and he’s been great in our workforce room.

“Like I said, he brings a lot of energy, the people love him, and I think he loves the opportunity to be able to represent his country.

“He’s a multiple-time U.S. Open winner, and which means a lot to him. Being an American I feel means a lot to him as nicely. I’m excited to sort of unleash him this week.”
