About 58 million pounds of corn canine and sausage-on-a-stick merchandise are being recalled after wooden items have been found within the batter, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service stated Monday.
Hillshire Brands, a Texas-based subsidiary of Tyson Foods, stated it acquired a number of buyer complaints about wooden items within the corn canines and sausage sticks, 5 of which concerned accidents.
