The Issue: President Trump’s US-Iran warfare strategy because the 60-day deal expires with no decision.

President Trump, I’m a huge supporter.

But, as you understand, Iran can’t be trusted (“Names change, but Iran’s aim stays the same,” Michael Goodwin, Aug. 19).

We have stalled long enough.

Massive army motion is needed now.

This is all Iran will perceive.

I do know many don’t need this, however at this level it’s essential.

If nothing is completed, Iran’s regime will survive, Trump will lose Americans’ help, and we are going to lose the midterms.

Mired on this quagmire, Trump has just one viable strategy: declare a phony victory, citing all of the irreparable injury inflicted on Iran, then reiterating that his goal of dismantling Iran’s nuclear energy has already been completed (yeah, proper).

Sadly, his vindictive nature makes it unimaginable for Republican colleagues to talk up.

It jogs my memory of the “Twilight Zone” episode, “It’s a Good Life”: The super-powerful 6-year-old forces you to fake every little thing is sweet.

Poor Vice President JD Vance could also be afraid he’ll wind up in a cornfield if he speaks his thoughts.

The final time we demonstrated such stupidity, it price us 58,267 of my brothers.

It’s déjà vu: We’re bombing North Vietnam; we’re pausing our bombing; we are able to’t go into Cambodia, Laos, North of the DMZ.

But we even have expertise defeating fanatical regimes that don’t care an iota for his or her people.

Think Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan.

At the very least, we must always take Kharg Island and financially strangle the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and mullahs.

It’s time to stop this sick regime, which tortures and kills its own people — who long for a peaceable life.

Iran’s leaders need to be destroyed earlier than somebody from our army is taken hostage or killed for money.

Trump doesn’t give a rattling about those that, not like him, have served their nation.

He has been credibly accused of saying those that sacrificed their lives in army service are “suckers.”

The chance that he stated that’s heightened by his response to the alleged poor situations and deteriorating mental health of troopers on the USS Abraham Lincoln.

Trump stated the time they’ve been there’s “not nearly enough.”

How any army member or veteran might vote for him is past me.

The Issue: NYC charter-school college students ace state exams, vs. poor ends in the common public colleges.

The outcomes posted by New York City constitution colleges communicate for themselves (“ ‘Chart’ing big wins,” Aug. 17).

Charter college students are taught by educators who observe studying, writing and arithmetic.

In city-run colleges, college students are taught by woke ideologues who really feel their liberal views will get them additional in life than a high quality training will.

Congratulations to the educators and college students of these constitution colleges for a job effectively finished, and for exhibiting what can occur when lecturers truly educate.

Bo Madden

Jupiter, Fla.

Parents are the explanation constitution college students succeed and public-school college students don’t.

Public-school college students within the prime courses sometimes have concerned mother and father, whereas most within the “bottom” courses have absent involvement from their mother and father. In constitution colleges, all mother and father are concerned of their youngsters’s training.
