Emma Navarro, an American tennis sensation and heiress to a $1.5 billion fortune, is worth more than three of the sport’s most iconic figures combined.

The 23-year-old’s wealth originates from her father, Ben Navarro, who established the Sherman Financial Group in 1998, which evolved into a credit card and debt collection powerhouse. His largest asset, Credit One, recently generated $453 million in the latest fiscal year. Forbes estimates Ben’s net worth at $1.5B.

In contrast, Celebrity Net Worth states that Roger Federer is worth $558M, Novak Djokovic $243M, and Rafael Nadal $223M, totaling just more than $1 billion. While Navarro surpasses the three male tennis legends in net worth, her female counterpart – Jessica Pegula – outdoes her as she is poised to inherit up to $7B from her oil business tycoon father Terry.

Emma launched her WTA Tour career in 2019 at the Charleston Open and won her first major tournament match in 2023 at the French Open. The rising star also made it to the Swedish Open final in 2023, and secured her first title at the Hobart International in 2024.

She then climbed to the eighth spot in the world singles rankings in tennis and was named the Most Improved Player of the Year by the WTA for 2024. However, she will split her father’s billions with her three siblings – Earl, Owen and Meggie.

Meggie, her younger sister, is also a rising tennis star currently competing at the college level. With four heirs to Ben’s billions, it’s likely that the inheritance will be divided equally among them.

However, Navarro has already built a substantial financial base from her tennis career earnings. According to the WTA website, she has amassed approximately $690,000 from her victories and appearances at tennis tournaments.

This impressive sum could increase soon as Navarro is set to launch her campaign for another win in her record with an appearance at the Indian Wells Masters this coming weekend. She’ll face Sorana Cirstea.
