The 2025 Indian Wells Open,also known as the BNP Paribas Open, is a popular easy-season destination for tennis fans and players alike.
Why? The tour visits sunny California for a competition mostly used for players to round back into shape following the extended layoff after the Australian Open in mid-January.
To attract high-end guests, Indian Wells offers a $100,00 suite package featuring a host of amenities. Up to 39 guests will first have access to VIP parking before finding their private, shaded seats.
Attendees will have access to a private patio with all-inclusive luxurious dining. One package, the Front Box Seat ticket in Stadium 1, provides Nobu-level sashimi.
Outside of the stars on the court, a host of celebrities have attended the tournament in recent years, including: Charlize Theron, Will Ferrell, Zendaya, and Tom Holland.
Indian Wells kicks off with the annual ‘Desert Smash.’ The long-running charity event was hosted this year by Pink and included a celebrity pickleball match between injured tennis star Nick Kyrgios and pickleball world No. 1 Fredrick Staksurd.
World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz was the men’s champion in 2024 and returns again this year. He is one of only three of the top six men’s players to survive the second round. No. 1 seed Alexander Zvarev fell to Tallon Griekspoor, No. 4 seed Casper Rudd lost to Marcos Giron, and No. 6 seed Novak Djokovic was bested by Botic van de Zandschulp.
All six of the women’s top seeds (featuring a trio of Americans) survived: Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys, and Jasmine Paolini.

Gauff had to dig deep to fend off No. 52 Moyuka Uchijima in the second round, committing 21 double faults and 70 unforced errors in her 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 win.
“It wasn’t my best tennis at all today, but I’m just happy to get through,” Gauff admitted post-match. “It’s been a rough couple of weeks, and I’m just happy to get a win on the court… No one likes to lose, and I came in here with determination. It wasn’t my best tennis, but a win is a win.”
