The Post’s Eric Adams help: Letters – Latest News
The Issue: The Post’s editorial urging President Trump to endorse Mayor Adams for re-election.
Wasn’t it the New York Post that featured pictures of Mayor Adams greeting busloads of unlawful immigrants at Port Authority (“The Post says: Endorse Adams Apple,” Editorial, Aug. 8)?
Have you already forgotten concerning the billions of {dollars} that taxpayers shelled out to deal with, feed and educate illegals?
Have you forgotten about all of the corrupt politicians Adams surrounded himself with in his administration?
One would suppose The Post would do the appropriate factor for New Yorkers and as an alternative ask President Trump to endorse Curtis Sliwa.

The Post’s help for Eric Adams illustrates a lack of innovation.
New York City is primed for a change, which requires the insights of Sliwa.
Any different candidate inhabits a “business as usual” mentality.
God keen, enough people will stop the insanity and provides Sliwa his due.

I urge all New Yorkers to get behind Adams.
I imagine that he cares about New York City and is nicely conscious of the errors he has made in his first time period.
Above all else, he cares concerning the quality-of-life points in all 5 boroughs.
He doesn’t need to brainwash us, seize property, close household companies or make our neighborhoods much less protected.
Whether you reside in Chinatown, Little Italy, Forest Hills, Harlem or elsewhere, Adams will advocate for you.

Adams is the best sleazeball since Jimmy Walker during the Roaring ’20s.
Yes, Andrew Cuomo is distasteful and Zohran Mamdani is over the moon, however going to bat for Adams signifies rabid madness.

Has the New York Post misplaced its thoughts?
How, for the love of God, might you ask President Trump to endorse Adams for re-election?
Adams has been a full catastrophe since his first day in workplace.
Cuomo and Mamdani — the despicable communist — are even worse.
Sliwa is the one viable candidate with a probability to carry some semblance of sanity back to our once-great metropolis.
John Lucadamo
Westchester County
While The Post raises reputable questions on Cuomo’s document, endorsing Adams overlooks how many of his insurance policies resemble these of Mamdani and Cuomo.
Trump can be clever to chorus from any endorsements to keep away from involvement within the federal scrutiny the subsequent mayor will possible face over a vary of ludicrous marketing campaign proposals.

The Issue: The doable cancellation of “The Howard Stern Show” following a dropoff in listeners.
Howard Stern misplaced his edge years in the past when he instantly went woke (“Bye bye booey: Staff coasting,” Aug. 10).
For most of his profession, he eschewed good style and battled critics, going out of his approach to be politically incorrect.
The more outrageous he was, the funnier he bought, and that earned him a super following.
But, as Howard’s longtime followers know, he’s pushed by money.
When Stern realized his model of humor might get him canceled, he turned a gentle liberal.

This isn’t the outdated Howard Stern; he’s kissing up to the targets, just like the woke people he as soon as hated.
I’ve a higher opinion of Stern staffers Gary Dell’Abate and Fred Norris than I do of Stern.
He shouldn’t be provided any extension of his show.
The time to drag the plug is now.
