Trump and Zel’s peace deal progress: Letters – Latest News
The Issue: President Trump’s assembly with Volodymyr Zelensky to debate a peace deal with Russia.
I wholeheartedly agree with The Post that the United States should back up any deal (“The Post says: US must back up any pact,” Editorial, Aug. 19).
We all know that Vladimir Putin is untrustworthy, however he seems to be open to peace — primarily as a result of President Trump has him over a barrel economically.
It’s up to Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky and Putin to return to an settlement to finish this conflict. If that fails, then Trump can put more strain on Russia.
No matter what occurs right here, Trump must be applauded for attempting to finish the killing of so many people.

Monday’s summit on the White House was a direct distinction to what the earlier administration thought of a precedence, regardless of the conflict starting during the Biden administration. Trump’s message on world unity sends a robust message to all our adversaries.
As a taxpayer, this assembly restored my confidence within the White House’s skill to convey our world companions collectively.

Zelensky mustn’t give up a sq. inch of land to Putin.

Zelensky has the best broker for a peace deal on the earth by his aspect. As a profitable businessman, the president is extremely skilled at negotiation, handling challenges and the artwork of the deal. If anybody can get a deal going between Zelensky and Putin, it’s Trump.
I’m cautiously optimistic that a deal can be made. If so, the Nobel Peace Prize can be Trump’s reward.

It was beforehand the Ukrainians, Zelensky and Trump head-to-head towards Putin and Russia. Now it’s NATO, the European Union, Ukraine and Zelensky towards Putin and Russia with Trump as an arbitrator.
The European Union now has to decide to defending Ukraine’s independence. It is no longer Trump’s combat to win or lose.

Whatever comes of Trump’s involvement amidst his ever-changing positions on the conflict is all however sure to be to the benefit of Putin.
Putin is a conflict prison and an adversary of the United States — which used to stand for freedom, democracy and human rights. Zelensky and his nation are Putin’s victims.
Our president can’t permit his fondness for ruthless dictators to set that apart.

The Issue: Average charter-school college students’ scores on state exams surpassing district-school college students’.
Charter college schooling is the way in which to success (“A Bronx tale of success,” Aug. 18).
New York City’s district-school system is damaged and past restore. Politics has gotten in the way in which of instructing the following technology the significance of the basics: studying, writing and arithmetic.
It began with ex-Mayor Bill de Blasio and has gotten worse. The City Council must be ashamed of itself.
Gov. Hochul shouldn’t be a chief and would slightly attend to criminals than combat for schooling. On high of that, socialist Zohran Mandami is posed to be our subsequent mayor. We are doomed.

Are we actually shocked by the check scores in New York district faculties versus constitution faculties?
District faculties are more involved with indoctrination and instructing racism, rioting and remedial than they’re with studying, writing and arithmetic.
