US Open champions Aryna Sabalenka and Carlos Alcaraz paraded their trophies onto the Today Show set following their dramatic wins in opposition to Amanda Anisimova and Jannik Sinner, respectively.

Sabalenka knocked off the American Anisimova 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) in relative ease on Saturday afternoon to capture her second consecutive US Open title. “It was an incredible couple of weeks,” she added during her Today Show appearance.
“Insane to be able to hold this trophy again. Right now, I’m still in the process of realizing what just happened. I enjoyed my journey here at the US Open, and [I’m] just super happy to hold this baby again.”
Alcaraz faced Sinner in a third consecutive major final and edged the Italian 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 to claim his sixth career Grand Slam at age 22.
“For me, it’s great. Having someone that you have to improve [for] makes you better, I think. We push each other to the limit every time,” Alcaraz stated on The Today Show. “I feel that rivalry is particular: splitting Grand Slams and combating for great issues.”
