Hateful Jimmy Kimmel’s return: Letters – Latest News
The Issue: Jimmy Kimmel’s return to the air following offensive feedback about Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
When people on the left make egregious remarks, all is forgiven (“Jimmy’s back in funny business,” Sept. 22).
Companies are forbidden from any recourse in any respect. Yet conservatives like Roseanne Barr, Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly are despatched into oblivion with no forgiveness there.

So the community determined to put Jimmy Kimmel back on the air. I feel it was as a result of there was no one on deck to interchange him, and ABC desperately needed that time slot stuffed.
It’s not about politics, it’s about money. This continues to be a business.

I used to be so glad to listen to that Disney and ABC pulled Jimmy Kimmel off the air after his derogatory and disturbing remark concerning the Charlie Kirk assassination. But it’s very unhappy that they introduced him back.
Late-night hosts like Kimmel and Stephen Colbert should not humorous comedians by a long shot. They are boring people, utilizing late-night platforms to spew their derogatory opinions.
Late-night TV is meant to be entertaining and humorous; these two clowns are neither.

So, the sap is back. I feel this was all a pathetic ruse to pump the sinking scores for Kimmel’s show. Kudos to the stations that noticed by way of this idiocy and didn’t air this late-night failure.
Kimmel is way from humorous and, because the once-great Johnny Carson said in sum and substance, “Why do they think that just because you have a ‘Tonight Show,’ that you must deal in serious issues?”

I hope that the billionaires, members of Congress, media barons, college presidents and law corporations who’re bowing to President Trump and kissing his ring take a lesson from Jimmy Kimmel and never be afraid to talk out towards Trump once they assume he’s flawed.
Thank you, Jimmy, for preventing back and highlighting the significance of free speech.

Jimmy Kimmel is back, and Roseanne Barr continues to be banned. Disney has no spine. These corporations are all hypocrites.

The Issue: Judge Jeffrey Gershuny’s determination to put a serial bank robber on “supervised release.”
Apologists for New York’s no-bail stupidity declare that supervised release is meant to make sure that felony suspects will return to court docket to face fees (“Demoted judge frees ‘Bandit,’ ” Sept. 21).
But within the case of Cornell Neilly, the one factor the no-bail coverage ensures is that Neilly will return, to not face fees in court docket, however to steal money from more banks.
In Neilly’s case, the villain is Judge Jeffrey Gershuny who has by no means seen a felony suspect he believes needs to be jailed, regardless of the seriousness or violent nature of the crime.
Neilly is thus free to stroll into your native bank department at this time and cross a word demanding 1000’s. Welcome to New York’s insane felony justice system in 2025.

Judge Gershuny is the epitome of silly. He created a security difficulty by recklessly displaying a firearm in open court docket. Now he decides to release a profession bank robber with out bail, despite the fact that he has 34 prior arrests for bank robberies, and allegedly dedicated more whereas on parole.
He put him on “supervised release.” Who did he assign to oversee him — Mickey Mouse? Gershuny is a detriment to the court docket and needs to be faraway from the bench instantly.
