Federal regulators are investigating almost 3 million Teslas following reviews of crashes linked to the automaker’s self-driving technology.
The US National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) stated Thursday it was specializing in incidents during which Teslas didn’t stop at pink lights or drove on the mistaken facet of the highway — typically slamming into different autos and inflicting accidents.

NHTSA had already been probing “Full Self-Driving” in some 2.4 million Teslas after the characteristic was blamed for 4 crashes, together with a lethal 2023 incident.
