Amazon overthrows Walmart to become Fortune 500’s – Business News
Amazon has overtaken Walmart to declare the No. 1 spot on the Fortune 500, ending the retailer’s 13-year run on the high of the annual rating of America’s largest firms by income.
The newest listing, primarily based on fiscal 2025 income, places Amazon within the high spot, adopted by Walmart and UnitedHealth Group.
The shakeup marks the primary time since 2013 that Walmart has not held the No. 1 place on the Fortune 500.
