Apple has discontinued its high-end Mac Pro desktop after a two-decade run.
The laptop, which was aimed toward serving video editors and different skilled techies, was quietly faraway from Apple’s web site, Bloomberg reported. The system had been priced at $6,999.
The finish of Mac Pro’s run was not completely sudden. Apple hadn’t launched a new model of the pc since 2003. Instead, the tech giant, led by CEO Tim Cook, shifted focus to the smaller Mac Studio, which acquired an upgraded chip in a new model launched final 12 months.
