Ark’s Bryant Park restaurant evictions are looming – Business News
The battle over Bryant Park eating places leases has gone on for more than a 12 months. Now, eviction of Ark Restaurants’ Bryant Park Grill, Cafe and Porch is likely to be in sight, Ark CEO Michael Weinstein warned buyers on his company’s third-quarter earnings call.
Barring an unlikely reversal of a court docket ruling which upheld the landlords’ proper to evict Ark, “The company will be required to vacate these premises and cease operations” when a keep of an eviction ruling expires “on or about October 16, 2026,” it stated.
Publicly traded Ark operates eating places, bars and catering operations across the US. The Bryant Park venues stay open because the legal tussle continues.

The park venues contribute round 15% of Ark’s total revenues. But Weinstein earlier informed The Post that uncertainty over the leases has brought about a loss in pre-booked social gathering business.
The nonprofit Bryant Park Corporation, Ark’s landlord, desires to interchange Ark with a restaurant run by Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
