Boeing settles lawsuits with two 737 MAX crash – Business News

Planemaker Boeing settled lawsuits with the households of two victims killed within the March 2019 crash of an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX on the eve of trial, attorneys for the households mentioned.

The DOJ present in May that Boeing had violated a 2021 settlement that had shielded it from prosecution over the crashes. Prosecutors then determined to criminally charge Boeing and negotiate the present plea deal.
