“But going back to The Chase, it was unique to NASCAR. It’s something we believe the fans will embrace. It’s 10 races, with every race mattering and still being very simple to explain to the fans. In Elliott’s view, having a more simplified way to explain the playoffs and embracing the differences that make NASCAR unique is what the sport should be leaning into.
