Christopher Bell gives Kyle Larson boost in – Sports News
Christopher Bell is increasing his skills as a driver, participating in Kyle Larson’s Kubota High Limit Racing collection.
Bell is a NASCAR star, profitable three straight races earlier in the season, although his most up-to-date outing at Talladega noticed him crash into the wall after being inadvertently hit by Denny Hamlin. So brutal was the wreck that he was requested if he was “alright” after his Toyota Camry smashed front-first into the wall.
Although his most up-to-date outing at Talladega didn’t yield the outcomes he would have wished, ending with a “DNF,” that’s not stopping Bell from persevering with to race in different collection. On Monday, it was introduced that the star might be competing in Larson’s Kubota High Limit Racing collection, a competitor of NASCAR, making his debut Thursday.
The 30-year-old might be driving at The Dirt Track at Texas Motor Speedway on Thursday earlier than competing the next evening at Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas. He might be driving a vibrant inexperienced car sponsored by Interstate Batteries in the Kubota High Limit collection, along with his No. 20 Toyota Camry carrying a related livery during the Wurth 400.
“This is a big deal,” Bell mentioned in a assertion launched by Interstate Batteries. “It’s a big race weekend for myself, my family and for Interstate Batteries. I would love nothing more than to get that first Texas Cup Series victory.”
He added: “Texas, that one’s a tough cookie, man. It’s just a very difficult track because of the way it’s shaped and the characteristics of it. In turns three and four, there’s this one big bump, and it’s always been my Achilles’ heel. But over in turns one and two, you need your car to be really low to the ground. It’s a slower corner and there’s not as much load on the car.
“Texas is a place of compromising. You need to make sure you get your car to load in (turns) one and two so it carries speed all the way through the corner. But then when you get to (turns) three and four, it’s a lot faster, and you’ve got to be able to manage that big bump.”
In his venture, Bell outlined why it was important to have a specific schedule as he prepared for an upcoming hectic week of racing. “I think it’s smart to run the sprint car Thursday and Friday, and then we’ll have Cup practice and qualifying on Saturday and we’ll be strictly focused on that,” he continued. “I don’t want to interrupt my feel, my rhythm, when I get in the Cup car, and I want to make the most out of Sunday.”
Don’t Miss
Bell also noted his love for all types of racing. “I love sprint car racing, I love dirt track racing, and Texas is a very important race for me because I’ll have all my family members there,” the Joe Gibbs Racing driver added. “They’re excited about getting to see me do a little bit more racing.
“It needs to be a large crowd, heaps of people. I’m simply grateful that I’ve this chance and intensely glad to hold the Interstate Batteries colours all weekend long.”
In the tip, Bell understands that to be a driver, he must keep honing his abilities, claiming: “Racers race, and the more you race, the better you are. You can go lift weights and run as much as you want, but being in that racing environment and focusing on the task at hand, it’s different – a lot different – and there’s no way you can prepare for it other than doing it.”
