Coinbase to List First Singapore Dollar Stablecoin in | Crypto Work Pro

Singapore’s stablecoin market took a step ahead this
week as Coinbase partnered with StraitsX to launch XSGD, the primary Singapore
dollar-backed stablecoin acknowledged by the Monetary Authority of Singapore
(MAS).

The rollout broadens Coinbase’s stablecoin offering
and introduces new cross-border cost choices for customers. Coinbase mentioned that XSGD will probably be listed on its world platform, with trading reportedly set to
open at 19:00 UTC on 29 September.

Coinbase and StraitsX Join Forces

The stablecoin will probably be out there on each Coinbase and

Both companies operate underneath Singapore’s licensing regime.
