Novak Djokovic discovered himself apologizing to interviewer Annabel Croft during a post-match interview with the BBC pundit on Centre Court.

“Another hard-fought win,” Djokovic mentioned when reflecting on his four-set victory. “Roman started very well, very aggressive, I didn’t feel maybe so comfortable from the back of the court, I knew it was going to be a challenge staying in the rally with him.
“Just a very strong participant. I respect him a lot. I’ve performed him on completely different surfaces, by no means on grass although. He has had some great wins this week and I want him luck for the remaining of the season. He needs to be proud of the efficiency he had at this time.”
Regarding his own performance, he added: “I do not get to really feel inferior from the back of the courtroom with too many gamers all through my profession. Today it was one of these days once I did not need to keep within the rally for too long.
“So I had to mix things up and it worked. At some moments it worked and some it didn’t but in the end I found the accuracy and precision with the first serve that really got me out of trouble in the fourth.
