ESPN has plucked 38-year-old Madelyn Burke away from MSG Network in New York to its chief ‘SportsMiddle’ desk in Bristol, CT, the community says.

She was a PA at ESPN for Super Bowl XLII when Giants receiver David Tyree famously pinned a throw to his helmet to set up New York‘s game-winning touchdown as they knocked off the previously indefeated Tom Brady-led New England Patriots.

“Nearly 20 years later, to be here now joining SportsCenter, I honestly feel a lot more gratitude than anything else to the people and the experiences and the opportunities that have helped me get here,” Burke advised the New York Post.
