Kimmel repeated his tasteless joke verbatim on his Monday evening monologue, explaining that when he mentioned the First Lady had “a glow like an expectant widow,” he was referring to the distinction in ages of the primary woman and her husband, and that it was not a “call to assassination.”
This will not be the primary time Kimmel has been within the sizzling seat over his monologue.
