Feil’s 7 Penn Plaza to lease three floors to HDR – Business News
Strong leasing momentum within the Feil Organization’s portfolio snared one other new tenant — HDR Engineering, which signed for 74,000 sq. ft on three full floors at 7 Penn Plaza, previously generally known as 370 Seventh Ave.
HDR, the biggest US-based employee-owned structure and engineering firm, will transfer from 500 Seventh Ave., the place it had 63,000 sq. ft. The asking rent was $70 per sq. foot.
The deal brings 7 Penn Plaza to 90% leased. Other tenants embrace Estreich & Co., life science company SOSV and Feil’s own headquarters.

The 18-story, 1921-vintage property has 357,000 sq. ft. It just lately underwent a capital enhancements program, together with a tenants’ rooftop lounge now below construction.
JLL represented HDR and Feil business leasing head Andrew Wiener and Kyle Young repped Feil in-house.
The deal follows a current 53,000 square-foot lease with philanthropic Robin Hood at Feil’s 841 (*7*), which introduced the property to 100% occupancy, and MiQ Digital’s 42,000 square-foot enlargement at 261 Fifth Ave.
