Joann Inc.’s move to stop taking present playing cards after Feb. 28 has angered some of the crafts retailer’s customers because the company winds down its operations.

The company introduced earlier this yr that it had entered Chapter 11 chapter safety for a second time to “facilitate a sale process to maximize the value of its business.”

Joann first filed for Chapter 11 in March 2024.

Social media customers expressed dissatisfaction in current days about not having the ability to use Joann present playing cards.

A Facebook person known as it “highway robbery” that Joann “will not honor gift cards when they gladly accepted the money for them.”

FOX Business reached out to Joann for remark.

Joann mentioned on its restructuring web site that shops will keep their doorways open till the closing gross sales finish, with its web site and app remaining operational during that time solely for looking and product availability info.

Customers should go to a bodily store to make a buy.
