Now, there’s another reason to swap to Kobo. If you like monitoring your Kindle reads with Goodreads, the favored app owned by Amazon that integrates with Kindles, Kobo has simply introduced a partnership with rival e-book logging app StoryGraph.

Amazon was by no means going to let Kobo combine Goodreads into its software program, so in June Kobo will push out a software program replace to e-readers that integrates your StroyGraph account onto your gadget, which is able to mechanically sync your studying progress.

Just like Goodreads, StoryGraph lets you add buddies and see what they’re studying, whereas performing as a centralised place for you to observe what you’re studying, review it when you’re achieved, and save books that you need to learn. Along with OverDrive, Kobos can also link to users’ Instapaper accounts. Kobo introduced the read later service integration after Mozilla shuttered Pocket, the once-popular alternative.

Kobo sells a number of e-readers within the UK with aggressive costs in contrast to Kindles, though not too long ago Kobo has raised its costs.
