Mamdani’s deadly homeless coverage: Letters – Latest News
The Issue: Cold climate killing 10 New Yorkers after Mayor Mamdani ended encampment sweeps.
This is the primary of what shall be many such incidents with Mayor Mamdani (“Suffering on City Hall’s doorstep,” Jan. 30).
He has no government expertise. He’s by no means been on the sector, because the latest deaths of homeless people show.
His aversion to law enforcement will definitely result in more of these deaths, regardless of the presence of NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, who I imagine is a Godsend.

So, Mamdani will enable the homeless of New York City to freeze to death moderately than power them indoors for his or her security. Isn’t he the one who talked in regards to the heat of collectivism? Isn’t he the one who accuses the wealthy of being heartless?
His hypocrisy can be comical if it wasn’t so deadly.

Ice kills in two cities: In Minneapolis, President Trump’s poorly educated ICE kills. In New York, Mamdani’s ideological ice kills.

Getting the homeless off the streets in freezing blizzard climate ought to have been a common-sense determination by Mamdani.
There are vacant islands across the metropolis the place homeless services needs to be constructed as a substitute of building a new 200-bed shelter at 61st Street and First Avenue, which isn’t proper for the world.
So far, so unhealthy, Mamdani. New Yorkers predict the worst from you; shock us.

Mamdani is being a good socialist by letting the people do what they need, even when it kills them. That’s one strategy to reduce the burden of homelessness in his thoughts.

I suppose Mamdani meant it when he mentioned people who’re homeless won’t be pressured off the streets.

He didn’t do almost enough to get the homeless out of frigid circumstances and into shelters. His coverage to not power shelter upon the homeless is cold, inhumane and outright uncaring. Sometimes, many of us no longer have the capability to implement their newfound proper.
As a society, we should select to help others and never fear about how it seems politically.

Mamdani has come up with a resolution to homelessness: He’s going to freeze them to death. It’s kind of like him giving needles and a place to overdose to the junkies.

So, Comrade Mamdani didn’t take away the homeless from the streets and 10 people froze to death. I suppose he figured they didn’t vote anyway.

The Issue: Longtime Patriots head coach Bill Belichick’s exclusion from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Bill Belichick deserved to be a first-round decide for the Pro Football Hall of Fame (“Belichick denied being HC in the HOF,” Jan. 28).
I hope he wasn’t slighted as a result of of his personal life being splattered everywhere in the information.
Belichick is the best coach ever. Shame on the judges who didn’t vote for him.

Shame on the Pro Football Hall of Fame voters who snubbed Bill Belichick. I suppose being a half of eight Super Bowl championships doesn’t matter.

I’m not a Bill Belichick fan, however his omission is scandalous.
The resolution is to make all of the ballots public so we will see the electors who left him off their ballots. Let them clarify their cause for omitting him.
