Taxi industry mogul Andrew Murstein hailed a journey to Leonard Stern’s 667 Madison Ave., becoming a member of an array of elite tenants on the boutique workplace tower.

Murstein, whose household was a prime mover behind the town’s yellow cab industry, signed an 11-year lease to transfer his Medallion Financial Corp. from 437 Madison. The new space at 667 Madison has about 9,000 sq. ft. Asking rents within the 267,000 square-foot property owned by Stern’s Hartz Group run from $120-$190 per sq. foot.
