MNF reporter Laura Rutledge risks leaving sports – Sports News
ESPN’s Laura Rutledge has hosted the hit show NFL Live for a number of years. She’s gained additional recognition as a host on numerous College Football panels, CFB sidelines, and NFL exhibits for each ABC and ESPN.
ESPN elevated Rutledge to a co-lead sideline reporter alongside Lisa Salters for Monday Night Football broadcasts in 2025, becoming a member of a crew that options announcers Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.
“When he was with the [Los Angeles] Angels, I made a fake Twitter,” she stated. “I’m admitting this. I know this was wrong. I’m not doing this ever since, but this was a one-time thing.”
“So if anyone had said anything negative about him, I would find them, and [the burner account] would be like, ‘You’re wrong,’ and back it up with stats or whatever.”
Rutledge even added that she by no means informed her husband about her account, Billy Halo 76. “I don’t assume Josh is aware of this,” she added. “If he watches this, he’s going to be really mad at me.”
Rutledge will seemingly be half of ESPN/ABC’s Super Bowl manufacturing in 2027, the primary for both community following their file deal with the NFL forward of the 2022 season.
For now, Rutledge will go about her regular Monday Night Football duties. She’ll be on website in Chicago on Monday, when the Chicago Bears host the Minnesota Vikings for the primary MNF sport of the season.
