And seeing Levi get to be there is going to be the best part.”
Before momentarily stepping away from NASCAR, Decker made 12 begins in the Xfinity Series and 32 in the Craftsman Truck Series.
She first developed a love for motorsports on the age of 9 earlier than testing her abilities in a stock car simply three years later. “I remember like moving someone for the win, and they got really upset with me,” Decker stated of her first race.
“I was like, ‘I’m never going to do that again.’ I was like so freaked out. And my dad was like. ‘No.’ He’s like, ‘Next weekend, move them again for the win.’ And I was like, ‘Yes. This is amazing.’ The adrenaline was crazy, and I just loved it.”

While racing domestically in the Midwest, Decker crossed paths with Lemke, a fellow skilled stock car racing driver. “I was going to marry him the day I met him. I was like, ‘That’s my husband,’ she recalled.
Now as parents, the couple have promised to instill their love of motorsports into Levi. “We have decided right when we started dating that our goal was to raise our family how we were raised at the racetrack. So this is just so amazing that I get to bring Levi to the Daytona race with me and he gets to be a part of the whole experience.”
