Nearly 25,000 pounds of frozen buffalo chicken merchandise that have been produced with out the benefit of inspection are being recalled, the Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) introduced on Wednesday.

Boston-based Shanghai Ravioli Corporation is recalling about 24,900 pounds of frozen, not-ready-to-eat buffalo chicken merchandise.

The recalled objects embody cardboard bins containing 100 items of “Buffalo Chicken Rangoon” and cardboard bins with 120 items of “Benedetto’s Buffalo Chicken Mozzarella Stick.”

The affected chicken merchandise have sell-by dates from July 8, 2026, to June 29, 2027, displayed on the label.

The food objects have been produced on numerous dates from July 8, 2025, to June 29, 2026.

The frozen meals have been shipped to food service places in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

FSIS stated it’s involved that some recalled merchandise could also be in foodservice fridges or freezers. Foodservice places which have bought these merchandise are instructed to not serve them.

The merchandise ought to be thrown away or returned to the place of buy.

FSIS stated the merchandise linked to the recall bear false marks of inspection with institution quantity “EST. 18004,” which doesn’t have a federal grant of inspection.
